  • The First Project

Working on the major project for 2026 and 2027

Gabriel Pidoux is the musical director of Fidelio, the upcoming production at the Théâtre Impérial de Compiègne, thanks to the support of Eric Rouchaud, its director, and Jean-Baptiste Henriat, artistic director of the Festival de Saint-Céré.
Based on Beethoven’s original score and Sedlak’s period arrangement for wind octet, Gabriel has created a new arrangement to produce a unique version of this opera for wind octet, double bass, and seven singers.
The premiere of Fidelio will take place on July 31 at the Saint-Céré Festival, followed by performances at the Théâtre Impérial in Compiègne in January 2027 and a tour in France.
